All Jack Mason lifestyle watches are designed and tested with a water resistance no less than 10 ATM (100 meters / 328 feet). This ensures safety from perspiration, light rain, bathing, and swimming. As a precaution, do not expose the watch to depths/pressure greater than what is marked on the dial or case back. Always set the crown in the closed position before contact with water. It is important not to operate the crown position, pushers on a chronograph, or any other buttons when the watch is wet or under water. If your watch features a screw-down crown, be sure to return it to the closed position before exposing the watch to water. Jack Mason will not be responsible for any water damage caused by improper handling of the case, crown, gaskets or crystal.
Watch Lifetime Warranty
Your Jack Mason watch contains a limited lifetime warranty. This warranty covers manufacturing defects for the lifetime of the watch but does not cover damages from normal wear and tear. For a list of warranty exclusions, please click here.
In case of defects covered by the warranty, all components, excluding battery, strap, and buckle, will be repaired at no charge. This process can take up to 8 weeks, not including shipping, but you get a completely refurbished watch. If you prefer an expedited method, you can choose to replace your watch at no charge. If your watch style is not available, you can select a watch that is of equal or lesser value. If you want to replace your watch with one that is of greater value, you will be required to pay the difference in retail price.
We know that life sometimes happens. For damages that are not covered by the Jack Mason warranty, you can either choose to replace your watch or have it repaired. We charge a fee of £83.00 if you decide to have your watch repaired. Again, this process can take up to 8 weeks, not including shipping, but you get a completely refurbished watch. If you choose to replace your watch, you will receive a 50% off code upon our receipt of your damaged watch. This one-time code applies to any full price Jack Mason watches on our website.
Once we receive your damaged Jack Mason watch, our customer service representative will notify you if it's covered under warranty, and instruct you on the next steps. You must send us your watch to receive a replacement or to receive a discount code on a new watch. You will be notified of any charges before Jack Mason initiates the repairs. Jack Mason will commence such repairs only upon your prior approval and payment of such charges.
Proper care and maintenance is required in order to optimize performance and longevity of Jack Mason leather watch straps. Water resistance applies only to the watch case. Leather watch straps should not be worn under water or exposed to wet conditions. Exposure to water may cause the leather to become brittle and damage the physical characteristics of the strap. Jack Mason watch straps are not covered under the warranty.
Using a soft cloth and mild soapy water, gently clean the watch and metal bracelet. Wipe dry with a soft cloth. Be sure to secure the crown in the closed position prior to cleaning in order to avoid water damage. Following the exposure to saltwater, simply rinse the watch under tap water and dry with a soft cloth.
The battery life of Jack Mason watches ranges from 3 to 5 years depending on the movement type. Frequent use of the chronograph functions may shorten the life of the battery.
Jack Mason watches are not resistant to strong magnetic fields and should be avoided as they will affect the accuracy of keeping time. The exposure to household items such as televisions, radios, and stereos will not affect the watch.
The Jack Mason lifetime warranty does not cover:
